The 3 Fairways Cottages are similar in style and layout and each can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
Built in 2004, they offer guests the flexibility of self-catering accommodation, with the choice of many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
Whether it is holiday or business that brings you to Ayrshire, these fully-equipped and modern cottages will not disappoint.
The ancient small town of Prestwick lies close to the heart of Rabbie Burns country, where Scotland's world-famous poet was born in 1759. Renowned for its historic golf course, scene of the first Open championship held in 1860, Prestwick enjoys a sheltered position on the Ayrshire coast and is located some 30 miles/50 kms. south west of Glasgow.
Fairways Cottages are less than 1 mile / 2 kms. from Glasgow Prestwick airport, a major hub of budget airline Ryanair, and other carriers.
The Fairways Cottages are ideally situated for easy access to the area, whether by your own transport (M77/A77, etc.), or public transport. We are less than a 2 minutes walk from Prestwick Town railway station, with frequent trains to Glasgow and beyond. In nearby Troon, the fast-ferry operates a summer service to Larne in N.Ireland. At Ardrossan, 30 minutes away, you can board the ferry to the Isle of Arran.
Ayrshire attracts many thousands of visitors each year, whether to play golf (there are courses nearby to suit all handicaps and budgets and we can arrange your tee times), bowls (indoor and outdoor), or many other sports (tennis, horse-riding, etc.). Or you can attend Ayr races, visit Burns country, or just stroll 2 minutes to the beach and watch spectacular sunsets over the Isle of Arran.
